Steve is the managing partner of the practice. His major area of concentration is affordable housing while adding his attention to many of the firm’s corporate clients.

Steve received his B.S. in Accounting from Bentley College. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maine Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is frequently invited to speak at affordable housing conferences throughout New England.

Throughout the years Steve has been active in many community activities, serving on several nonprofit boards.

Steve and his wife, Kyle, live in Yarmouth.

Tom is head of the firm’s tax department. Before joining Otis | Atwell he worked in the tax department of an international accounting firm. Tom has wide-ranging experience with complex tax issues including the structuring and tax implications of Low Income Housing Tax Credit projects.

Tom received his B.S. and his Masters of Science in Taxation from Long Island University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Tom has been a discussion leader at the University of Southern Maine’s continuing business education program and at various real estate industry seminars.

Scott has been a partner since 2006. He specializes in auditing, accounting and tax services relating to tax credit rental real estate developments. Prior to joining Otis | Atwell, Scott worked for two public accounting firms and ran the accounting department of a marketing firm in the Boston area.

Scott received his B.S. in Accountancy from Bentley College. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maine Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Scott is a member of the Rotary Club of Portland, and is a past member and chair of the finance committee of St. Anthony’s Church of Westbrook. Scott resides in Gorham with his wife Sharon and daughter Jordan.

Ronald Worden, CPA, joined our team in 1995 after working in public accounting in the Greater Portland area. A graduate of the University of Maine, Ron specializes in the audits of HUD, RD, MaineHousing and Low Income Housing Tax Credit developments. He also has extensive consulting and auditing experience with Public Housing Authorities.

Ron lives in Auburn with his wife Sonia, daughter Julia and son Wyatt.

Bridget Sylvester, CPA, began working with us in 2004 after working at several small firms in the Greater Boston area. A graduate of Bentley College, Bridget specializes in auditing nonprofit organizations, assisted housing and real estate management/development.

Bridget lives in Portland with her husband Paul, and sons Aidan and Reid.

Sarah Dodge, CPA, joined our company in 2006 after working in private and public accounting in the Greater Portland area. A graduate of the University of Southern Maine, Sarah specializes in the audits of HUD and Low Income Housing Tax Credit developments as well as Public Housing Authorities.

Sarah lives in Windham with her husband Chris.

Greg Geisser, CPA, joined our team in 2006 after working for several years in private accounting. A graduate of the University of New Hampshire, Greg specializes in audit and tax issues involving affordable housing, specifically Low Income Housing Tax Credit developments and historic rehabilitation properties.

Greg lives in Scarborough with his wife Sarah, and daughters Lily and Molly.
